Hi Guys!

Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your podcasts. I got my brand new Zune and have been listening to them on my daily subway ride.

I love the way you cover your subjects. Not too earnest. Steeped in actual examples. Respectful of the charities you represent, but still willing to criticize where criticism is due. You take your subect seriously, but not yourselves.

One suggestion: please increase the volume when you record. I had to turn the volume on my Zune up to the max (something I have been all over my teenaged son not to do) to hear you over the ambient subway noise, but then when it switched to a song afterwards, I was nearly deafened.

If ever you'd like to talk about the conflict that can arise between the fundraisers and the finance staff, I'd be happy to provide some material.

Thank you again,

Bill

Jeff Brooks is creative director at TrueSense, the growing, innovative fundraising agency for organizations that care about donors. Steven Screen is founder of UberDirect, an advertising agency specializing in direct response marketing and fundraising. Between them, they have more than 35 years of experience helping excellent nonprofits raise money for their causes. That's a lot of years, but they aren't all that old, really.
