Great podcast on a timely topic. I hope you address the RFP process for finding the right consultant in a future podcast. My advice: limit the length of both the RFP and the answers. Have a process for dealing with questions and conveying the answers. Select your list of potential fundraising consultants carefully and keep it short. And remember that the person who is going to work on your account has a much greater impact than the firm.

Jeff Brooks is creative director at TrueSense, the growing, innovative fundraising agency for organizations that care about donors. Steven Screen is founder of UberDirect, an advertising agency specializing in direct response marketing and fundraising. Between them, they have more than 35 years of experience helping excellent nonprofits raise money for their causes. That's a lot of years, but they aren't all that old, really.
